Mid-Derbyshire Light Railway - (Post) Christmas Jollity

A new digital camera gave me the excuse (as if one were needed) to have a post-Christmas "play".
You can tell it's just after Christmas by the load in the van.................

Ready for the "Right Away" - No 9 acting as Station Pilot after No 8 failed.

One of the nice things about having a "multiple pictures" feature is that you can take photos of a runpast
(at Draper's Platform on this occasion) and decide whether THIS is the best shot.......................

Incidentally, the figure in the foreground is the MDLR's resident trainspotter,
who can be guaranteed to put in an appearance whenever something is moving.

Needless to say, I didn't get away without doing SOME work.
I'd wondered why my steaming & preparation bay had got smaller..............

Once I'd cleared the (remarkably tough) creeping plant out of the way, it was MUCH bigger!
